Arale Reartes is a Spanish photographer working across fashion, art and personal practice. Centred around self-portraiture, her work explores identity, representation and authorship through images that are intimate, precise and quietly subversive.

Living between Barcelona and Paris, she has developed a distinctive visual language shaped by self-representation and a singular authorial gaze. Alongside her commissioned work, her personal practice extends through projects including Rooms: Pursuit of Home (2019–present) , Coraza: Plunge into the Abyss, and her forthcoming first solo exhibition, which brings together Mechanics of a Female Body, Object/Subject and Armour: Mise en Abyme.
